Beach home in Foz
The home near the beach….
This three story house is nestled on a walking street in old Foz at the seaside where the Douro river flows into the Atlantic Ocean. From this vantage point you can see the “Foz” that point where the river meets the ocean. The exterior of the house fits with its’ neighbors in this idyllic Portuguese neighborhood but entering the front door you are greeted by a unique architectural jewel.
The floor plan is quite unique. Composed of three floors interlocking spaces. The ground floor consists of a bathroom, a laundry room/patio, a sunken living area and a recessed kitchen area. The curving stairway brings you to the two bedrooms, the master bathroom and the deck with a panorama view of the river and the ocean. Above on the third floor is a guest room and office area again magnificent view of the Atlantic and the river Douro.
